Top Five...

...things that run through my head when singing at weddings:

5. if a tambourine is percussion, does that make me vocals/percussion?
4. I'm really not in a "Walking on Sunshine" mood
3. just stay in one spot and you won't trip over the slew of cords
2. we should learn more disco
1. 'I've got to get those shoes...and those...oh, and those...'

ok, amanda "letterman" mccullough...with your "top 5/10 lists". here's my top 5 for you:

Top 5 things I think about when coaching a game...
5. Should I call a timeout, or just let the players play it out.
4. what team are we playing against, again?
3. oh, man...that omelette i had this morning isn't sitting too well in my stomach.
2. i hope the players can't tell that i'm hungover...that would look really bad.

...and, the #1 thing I think about when coaching a game...*drum roll*
1. could i just hand the referee 20 bucks, so he'd end this game, give me the win, and be done with it already. i've got things to do right about now.

ok ok...you guys called me out on it...the hungover thing and the referee thing are the only 2 falses in my top 5 (i threw those in there for some comic relief). however, in high school, i did go to a lacrosse practice (as a player) hungover - but the practice was at 9:00AM on a saturday. anyway, the other 3 on my top 5 have all happened at one point or another. including #4, where at the end of a lacrosse game, i actually asked the players, "what team is this, again?". in my defense, however, i knew we were playing either 'leesburg' or 'loudoun', and that's virtually the same thing. and, my number 5 occurs quite often actually, in both bball and lax.
