This was definitely Tyler's weekend, he had a blast. Friday night he had the company of Grant and Colin (although he was disappointed that Parker wasn't there). And Saturday morning he had t-ball then we went to the Fairfax Fair. We ate at Red Robin afterwards and as soon as we got into the car, he just crashed. From his 9am ball game to the day at the Fair...yeah, he was a little worn out (as was I!).
Sunday we went to Burke Lake, which was really nice. It was a gorgeous day, so we had lunch on the boat while all the geese stalked us (they are quite persistent!). Then we went to Stacy's for her birthday get-together (happy birthday Stacy!!). It was nice to hangout by the pool while the kids played. Needless to say, Tyler was not a happy camper when I had to drag him out of the pool.

sounds like a good weekend. i spent ALL day sunday at the fair - not having fun, though...typical police duties. there from 8AM to 6:30PM - sorry, i missed stacy's party, but i was soooo tired and hungry when i left...just wanted to go home.
btw - lacrosse is over, so i'll be going to the gym on wednesdays at normal time, now...6:00 or 6:30.
you can pack more into one weekend than most moms do in a year.
How's the new job going?
Pops is home again. Patti, Bill and Morgan left for the Dominican Republic yesterday for R&R. Not great weather there....too bad.
Your dad, Denise, Matt and Iris will be down for the weekend. Hope the weather will be nice.
j2- hmmm, kinda sounds like you didn't enjoy the fair. Did they not let you all ride the rides and eat funnel cake?!
daphne- Dominican Republic? Very nice, are they cruising there? Sounds like a full house this weekend. I've put in my request for my weekend in OC, but I haven't heard back yet. They were wondering if I'd have internet access, I told them I had a very high-tech grandma! :-)
We are looking forward to time with you and Tyler. Usually there are so many people here when you come down that I have no time to connect with anyone. Small groups this year. We may have your dad and Denise for that weekend. I was worried that you would't have the time for our visit. I have you down for 21-27 August.
No, they didn't take a cruise...went with 2 other familes..with kids. The other people are staying for 2 weeks but PM&B will fly home Friday.
That is great news about the new job! Is this a new business?
