Tyler's Sweetie has passed and gone on to goldfish heaven. :( I found him when I put Ty's to bed tonight. Ty's wanted to say goodnight, but thank goodness he bought my 'he already went to bed' story. I'm not sure the cause of death, but something about my condo is fish toxic, I haven't been able to keep a fish alive for more than 2 weeks...

Are you going to tell him that an angelfish came and took Sweetie to goldfish heaven? Please tell him that his Meema is so sorry he lost his friend and that Franki is waiting for him so she can give him doggie kisses.

tell tyler that fish prefer the nice cold climate of toilet water and that, the fish is now amongst his other friends down under.
koi fish are the way to go - they're survivors. i've had koi fish in my outdoor pond for 2+ yrs now, and they're a bit, "muh-ney".
Here's the story, Sweetie got sick and I took him to the fish store to get some medicine and we're going to pick him up soon. Considering how concerned he was for Sweetie just when I told him he was getting medicine, I'm glad I didn't go with the 'j-2 toilet water' version! :-P
Koi fish are good Jason until some animal in the backyard like a squirel eats them. Scott's 7 koi's and 6 goldfish are now all dead. That's why the pond isn't there anymore.
hey stacy - if you want to avoid the squirrels eating fish, just have akima outside more often. i don't have a squirrel problem thanks to my cat and dog acting as security for the back patio :)
