Swiftkick: Behind the Music...

The McGinty's Episode:

What are the chances that a sub drummer remembers to bring all his equipment EXCEPT for the kick drum pedal...and a person who just happens to be crossing the state line to see the show manages to be able to bring one?!? I think it's safe to say that the rock gods were definitely looking out for us on Saturday night... the acoustic gods almost got their way.

Minus the pedal drama, the gig was fun!! And I got a "Kill Amanda" drawing memento, niiiice...

That was really a coincidence...although some people do not believe in coincidences. Anyway, "Kill Amanda" drawing memento...was that a good thing or was it because the crowd did not like you? How can anyone not!!!Oh, while I was labeling my CDs I came across your recording With Greg St. James, your Dandelion Wine era. I still think that you sound best singing ballady, pop stuff or country.

oh yes..."kill amanda" was the result of one audience member having watched horror movies all day on Saturday, and not due to her singing. though, it would have made sense if that were the case - since, there was no "Sweet Child of Mine" on the songlist!!

it was fun, nonetheless.
